This page is an index of all known gateway ancestors that appear in my family history, it is not an exhaustive list and only includes ancestors with known Royal Descent. The list comprises of 35 direct ancestors whose pedigree’s are well recorded and stretch many hundreds of years into the past.
Included as part of this list I have noted which Royal ancestor they descend from first and how many times (or in some cases multiple names if they descend from more than one Royal figure within the same generation or close to it.
From genealogical work so far carried out I can note that I am descended from;
King Edward III of England (1312 – 1377) no less than 98 times.
King James IV of Scotland (1472 – 1513) no less than 15 times.
And a single descent from King James V of Scotland, King Henry VII and King Edward IV of England.
