The 100th Generation

My previous post covered a short topic on Legendary, Mythological and Biblical family connections. To continue this I have included a pedigree which covers 100 generations of my family tree.
The information that precedes the year 500 A.D. Should not to be taken as fact, (please do not take it seriously) but more to the point of what our ancestors believed and the ancient stories that have passed through the ages and those that still exist today, like the context of the Bible for instance.
What I find interesting about this family tree is that Adam ‘of Eden’ appears in my pedigree as my 100th great-grandfather (not to be taken seriously). Even so, that’s a nice round number I must say.

    • Hi Amy, historically the documents date back to at least 500 A.D. And I mean in context to things like Saxon Chronicles etc… Although historical famous people don’t necessarily need to be researched. Their Ancestry has already been recorded and has been that way for centuries.
It’s only common lines which need the majority of research.
The pedigree dating before 500 A.D. Is legendary, these are historical stories and belief’s. The Bible connections are recorded in the Bible.
It’s incredible really how far back our known history is recorded.
Even if some of the connections are likely to have been made up, by ancient king’s to make them more important.

      • Haha, I totally agree. Although in London there are some very old pedigree rolls for the King’s of England stretching back to God.
These pedigree rolls date back hundreds of years, and is probably one of the primary source’s for these ancient pedigree’s.
