City of London Regiment – 1915

Whilst researching my family history I often keep a look out for old photographs, postcards, manuscripts, Ephemera that relate to my family in one way or another. Ebay is a good place to start looking for any images or documents that may relate to your family.

Over the years I have bought many interesting collectibles and photographs and below is a photograph that relates to the Royal Fusiliers / City of London Regiment. The postcard dates from 1915.

If anybody has any further information to add for this image, please post your comments. Maybe you recognize one of the soldiers or know exactly where the photograph was taken.

Between the years 1909 – 1915 My 2x Great Grandfather Edmund Lionel Plaskett was a private in the London Regiment before being wounded and transferred to the Labour Corps.

Please feel free to use this image.
